Rave Pools — Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Rave Pools. We are committed to delivering exceptional, concierge-level pool and spa care. Please review these Terms & Conditions carefully. By engaging Rave Pools for services, you agree to be bound by the terms set forth below.


1. Services Provided

Rave Pools provides professional pool and spa services including, but not limited to:


Routine Maintenance Services
Weekly or scheduled visits may include skimming, vacuuming, brushing, water chemistry testing and balancing, filter maintenance, and equipment inspection. Specific inclusions vary by service tier and are detailed in your Service Agreement.


Seasonal Services

  • Pool and or Pool and Spa openings
  • Pool and or Pool and Spa closings
  • Seasonal start-up and winterization


Repairs & Equipment Services
Diagnosis, repair, replacement, and installation of pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and related equipment.


Specialty & One-Time Services
Green-to-clean treatments, specialty cleanings, service calls, and client-requested visits outside routine maintenance.


Winter Maintenance Program
Monthly winter care services as outlined in the applicable program.


Special Projects & Renovations
Select upgrade, improvement, and renovation services as quoted.


A detailed scope of work will always be provided in your individual Service Agreement or written proposal.


2. Service Agreement Requirement

A written Service Agreement outlining the specific services, service frequency, pricing, and payment terms must be executed prior to the commencement of services.


In the event of any conflict, the executed Service Agreement shall control over these general Terms & Conditions.


3. Pricing & Payment Terms

Payment is due in accordance with the terms stated in your Service Agreement. We accept cash, check, ACH (when available), and all major credit cards. Payment is due upon receipt unless otherwise stated in writing.


Late Fees
Accounts not paid when due may incur a late fee of $10.00 per calendar month. The first late fee will be applied on the 1st of the month following the invoice date. Additional late fees will be applied on the 1st of each subsequent month while the balance remains unpaid.


Administrative Processing Fee
A 3% administrative fee will be applied to payments processed by staff over the phone.


Deposits for Equipment, Projects, and Installations


All equipment purchases, installations, renovation work, and project-based services require a non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the total project cost in order to secure scheduling and materials.


Depending on the scope and duration of the project, Rave Pools may require a structured payment schedule as follows:

  • 50% deposit due at the time of scheduling
  • 25% progress payment due at the midpoint of the project
  • 25% remaining balance due upon project completion

Rave Pools reserves the right to adjust payment schedules based on project size, materials required, or supplier conditions.


Work may not begin until the required deposit has been received.


Service Suspension

Rave Pools reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for accounts not in good standing.


Price Adjustments

Pricing is subject to change with written notice, except where otherwise contractually guaranteed (such as Private Client rate-lock programs).


4. Property Access Requirements

Clients are responsible for providing safe and unobstructed access to the pool area at the scheduled service time, including:

  • Unlocking gates
  • Securing pets
  • Ensuring clear pathways
  • Maintaining safe working conditions


If access is not available, the visit may be marked as completed or subject to a return trip fee at Rave Pools’ discretion.


5. Water Chemistry & Environmental Factors

Rave Pools services pools using commercially reasonable professional standards. However, water clarity and chemical balance are affected by factors outside our control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather and temperature fluctuations
  • Bather load
  • Environmental debris
  • Phosphate levels
  • Source water quality
  • Client actions between visits
  • Filtration and circulation performance


No Immediate Swim-Ready Guarantee
Completion of any service does not guarantee immediate swim-ready conditions. Additional treatments, chemicals, filtration time, or visits may be required and will be billed accordingly unless expressly included.


Chemicals
Unless specifically stated in your Service Agreement, chemicals are billed separately.


6. Equipment, Repairs & Authorizations

  • Rave Pools is not responsible for pre-existing equipment conditions or failures.
  • We will notify clients of recommended repairs.


Repair Authorization Threshold

  • Repairs under $150.00 may be completed without prior approval and invoiced accordingly.
  • Repairs over $150.00 will require client approval prior to work being performed, unless emergency conditions exist.


External Causes


Rave Pools is not liable for equipment damage resulting from:

  • Power surges
  • Weather events
  • Acts of God
  • Improper client operation
  • Third-party interference


7. Insurance & General Liability

Rave Pools maintains commercial insurance coverage as required by the State of Connecticut.


To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Rave Pools is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or incidents occurring in or around the pool area.
  • Clients assume responsibility for maintaining a safe pool environment between service visits.


8. Cancellations, Refunds & Service Suspension


Maintenance Packages

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
  • Weekly maintenance packages are non-refundable once service has commenced.

À La Carte Services, Openings & Closings

  • Must be cancelled in writing at least 48 business hours prior to the scheduled service to be eligible for a refund or reschedule.

Equipment & Parts

  • All installed equipment and parts are non-refundable once installation is complete.

Company Right to Suspend

Rave Pools reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for:

  • Non-payment
  • Unsafe site conditions
  • Lack of access
  • Client breach of agreement
  • Other reasonable business causes


Services will resume only once the account is brought into good standing and conditions are corrected.

Clients should refer to their specific Service Agreement for any additional cancellation provisions, including Private Client program terms where applicable.


9. Force Majeure

Rave Pools shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Labor disruptions
  • Supply chain interruptions
  • Government actions
  • Acts of God

Service schedules may be adjusted accordingly.


10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions and all Service Agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut.


11. Modifications to Terms

Rave Pools reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted to our website and/or provided in writing. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.


12. Photo & Video Marketing Consent

Client grants Rave Pools, LLC (“Company”) the irrevocable right and permission to photograph and/or record video of the serviced property, pool, spa, and surrounding project areas for legitimate business purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Website content
  • Social media
  • Marketing materials
  • Portfolio use
  • Advertising and promotional campaigns


Client understands that such images or videos will focus primarily on the pool, spa, equipment, and project work areas. Rave Pools will make commercially reasonable efforts to avoid capturing personally identifiable individuals, house numbers, or sensitive personal information; however, incidental capture may occur.


No compensation shall be owed for the use of such media.


If Client wishes to opt out of marketing use, Client must submit a written opt-out request to Rave Pools prior to the commencement of services. Absent such written opt-out, consent is presumed granted.


Rave Pools retains full ownership of all photographs and video captured in the course of providing services.


14. SMS Terms & Conditions Requirements


Purpose of Messages: It should include the company name and a clear state of the

type of messages the customer will receive (e.g., appointment reminders, account

updates, two-way communication).

• Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on customer

interactions.

• Opt-Out Instructions: Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe.

• Support Instructions: Reply HELP for assistance or contact ravepools.com.
